WW2 2" Mortar Lensatic sight

Thought I would share a few pictures of a recent find, a 1940 dated Lensatic sight for the 2 inch mortar.
I dont think these were in use for very long.

Thank you. Its a handsome piece of brass, but I am afraid I know little about it. If anyone has any information regarding these Lensiatic sights I would appreciate it.

I think they also used a lensatic sight on a Brengun, there is also information how to use this sight in the 2" mortar hand books pamphlets 1939 and 1942.
