ww2 canadian .50 cal box?

I would appreciate if someone could give me an example of what a canadian .50 cal box would look like. An older gentleman who is an ex EOD guy asked me if I could find one for him. Im not sure if he was testing my knowledge or not, being that the 50 bmg and its ammunition is American supplied i think. I just dont know.

Hi SHAKY,
I'm not sure from which period you refer to,but Canada does manufacture its own ammunition for the 50 cal, sorry I don't have a box.

I only bumped into to him a couple of times at my friends store. Havent seen him in quite awhile but I still keeping my eyes peeled for a box. I think it would be great to here some more of his stories too. He loves his job and never wants to give it up, He said its like an treasure hunt all the time. Good people!

I have a British .50 Browning box, its an H32. I guess the Canadians would have used the same type, but with a different tin liner.
Will try and upload a picture.
Cheers

Well it finally worked

Now thats a cool box! I havent seen one before, but I wouldnt doubt that theres a Canadian version out there somewhere. I just recently sold my H 51 box which I still see every now and then. Thanks for showing this to me. Now I think Ill have a good idea of what Im looking for.

I do have a spare H32 if anyone is interested. Would swap it for an H31 ideally but am interested in most of the H series upto H 49.
Thanks in advance,
