WW2 german cartridge identification

Hello guys
A friend of mine sent me some photos for identification, but I couldnt help him.
Hope you can help me with this. The first picture is with the cartridge in the midle, between a 6.5 Mannlicher and a 14.5x114

Thanks a lt. I canot be sure before I measure it, but then what about the headstamp? Why is it 745-93?
Also, do you have any idea about weapons it cold have been used for?
 
That is an old RWS style headstamp,the numbers on the case are 74.5-9.3 which is 9.3x74.5 mm.
