Late war German stick grenade with a cast concrete head filled with small demo charge into the cavity in the midde.

Thanks Paul.... juist got back from 1945....but i need the old tug serviced, to many miles , has anyone gor a spare Flux Capacitor laying about ;)

Is this item i have in my collection for one of these grenades? I did have 2 of them but one seems to have gone walkies or sold? :(
I was always led to believe that the concrete thing i have was an emergency pattern booy-trap of sorts?

Aye Up Paul.. looks like a stock mine old chap.. the M24 conctrete has square shape with round hollow for demo charge,, bugger nearly saw my name on it :)

Don't know measurements of this one but to me it rather looks a concrete egg grenade. Threre should be a metal lid ( you still can see some rust band at the open end ) and M39 fuze.
 
A couple of piccs of a conc m24 head,,these may differ from manufacturer to another as these were thrown together as a last ditch effort.
( bit like MFI furniture )

Yeah,i see the big differences.
Ok lads,thanks for the info and sorry for hijacking Jeeensys thread.. :p As a punishment,i will post the concrete head and that nice can i bought thats sat on the coffee table.
