WW2 German Incendiary Bomb

Gents,

After a long search I have added my very first German WW2 Incendiary bomb to my collection.

Its in nice original shape & fins are still attached. it shows just a wee bit of handling wear.

Fuze is solid to the body & im not going to attempt to unscrew it as not to ruin it/mark it up.

I found it locally (here in Canada) from http://thecanadiansoldier.com/ This was my first deal with this site/seller & it was 100% painless. Much thanks to Kevin for the great deal.

Photos below are from Kevin page (thanks :nerd:) i will post more showing the ink stamp on the fins.

Enjoy

Beautiful bomb! I just added a picture of mine to the gallery, look at the paint job! I'm still looking for info on the colours and such..

Nice buy.
I struggled for years to get one of these, then in the space of a year i found 3!.

Lovely things, got a love of them somehow. 6 in 15 ish years including unusual 1 with HE unit in tail (looks similar to a bomb fuze Gaines screwed into body of bomb under the tin vanes.

A beautiful item.. here are my 2 rough & ready ones, never been cleaned { As you can tell ! } With similar markings, the top one is dated 1936 lower one 1937 both AZ 8312* The lower one has interesting ' Hole ' !! Liberated from a neighbours recycling box :tinysmile_shy_t:, seriously. Some people haven't got a clue.. Could do with a fin if any body knows about one laying about....

Painless ! I just looked at the prices, it hurt just to look~ I think I need to be sedated ~

I just found this nice 1936 example for sale on a US militaria web site. I got it for $250 including shipping. I like the way each letter on the fuze seems to use a different font. It also has that very crude "KB" carved into it as the other example in this thread.
