WW2 German Navy 75mm C/34

I have not posted anything for a while and thought to return with an interesting cartridge case which turned up recently.

I think this is a case from a medium calibre German Navy gun, marked 75mm C/34. The case is 398mm long, mouth 75mm and rim diameter 96mm. My research would point towards the gun being used to arm small escort vessels of the German Navy in a dual role function, both antiaircraft and anti-ship, happy to be educated!
Shown alongside a British 13 Pounder Field gun case for comparison.

75mm German projectile ID

I'm trying to positively ID this 75mm projectile. There are markings under the paint but they are not readable. I have assumed that it is an HE Type 34 ( Sprgr. Patr. KWK 34, also used in Pak 40 ). Is this correct? If so I would expect it to be painted green not yellow - is it because it is an...

It is not a navy case but an export field gun intended for Brazil. There is indeed a German navy case almost identical but that one is significantly more rare and mostly found as a steel case.

The kriegsmarine C34 is the same case as the german 7,5cm flak14. The export 7,5cm C34 made for export to brazil is the indentical to the 7,5cm fk38. In my opinion your 7,5cm C34 is not used by the kriegsmarine but as 7,5cm Fk38. Pictured are the 7,5cm C34 kriegsmarine and the 7,5cm flak14.IMG-20230204-WA0016.jpgIMG-20230207-WA0010.jpg
