i dont think you would be throwing a 3in shell grenade very far!

Hi Chris,
I think it's 81mm projectiles and not 47mm.

Just a clever soldier Sebastian if we have a 47 mm I can make a 81 mm

One has to throw it just couple of feet outside the trench
The 76,2 mm projectile looks to be a fired shrapnell.
