WW2 Russian F1

Hi. I recently picked up this Russian WW2 F1. It has the number 24 cast on each side. Does anyone know the significance of this marking? Cheers

Most likely just a mold number

Hi thanks for your comments. The body has a filling plug in the base, so I'm assuming it's French made. Cheers
