I am loooking for a clear and consice list of loadings for both the M16 and M17 cases, trying to sort out my collection of these rounds and sell off or trade any spares. Having read so many posts and exerts from manuals some that seem to contradict each other. It is my understanding that they are as below.

M16

M2 Cannister
M63 HE with M58 base fuze
M55 prac with dummy fuze
M54 HE with M56 fuze
M74 AP T
M51B1 APC T
M51B2 APC T
M51B3 APC T
APCNR T

M17

M55 HE with dummy fuze
M54 HE with M56 fuze
M59A1 AP
M80 AP
M74 AP ?

If anyone can confirm or offer advice that would be very much appriciated. I am also in need of a mint M80 projectile and a mint M56 fuze if anyone has a spare. i have some very nice trades to offer or cash if prefered.

Hi Gordon, thank you very much for taking the time to sort and upload those. the search continues for a M80 shot and another M56 fuze and i might have a full set (ish)

TM 9-1901 Artillery Ammunition dated 1944 has all the information you are looking for. I am not aware of any mistakes in it, offhand. It is widely available online for free, just google it.
Definitely need the M59 w/M17 combination.
M74 was used with both cases.
Never heard of M50.

Hi Jeff,
Thank you for your reply, M50 is a typo was meant to read M59. I will take a picture or two when I get them sorted out.

I think M50 is referring to the M50 dummy fuze for the M55 TP maybe?

I actually have an extra M80...not sure if you want to mess with mailing it from the US to the UK. Let me know
