WWII 105mm German Uboat Illumination Projectile

Well-Known Member
I just purchased this item, and it is in transit to me. I believe it is a German Navy 105mm illumination projectile. The previous owner called it an 88mm but he gave 100mm as its diameter. It is threaded for a fuse on top, and the bottom is open; I do not have the bottom plate, so it is obviously a base eject shell. May I request your help with its identification and an image out of a German manual so I can document it. Thank you.
