This is a Reading, Pennsylvania air show (with NUMEROUS ground forces) to celebrate D-Day of June 6,1944. Not everyone got 1944 date correctly though.

The air show is continuous both on the ground and in the air. You can go into some planes and even pay to fly some. The ground force reenactors are very friendly and knowledgable, they live in tents for 3 days. They periodically give small lectures about their respective units. There are shows like Germans fighting Americans in the French village. There are dog fights in the air. A lot of civilian reenactors, women look REALLY good in 1940's dresses. There is a small range where you pay to shoot blanks from authentic guns. There is also a very robust war stuff market place.

There is a big band concert with dancing at night, The President of The United States himself stopped by to give "The day of infamy" speech.
