Can anyone tell me what type of fuze was used on the SL 18pr HE in 1941. I thought it was a 106E but now I'm not so sure.
Cheers

Hi Gary
The fuzes employed with 18 pdr are
- for plain base shell No106 E
- for streamline shell No 115 E, No117 or No119
Fuzes No106 or 115 may be met with as alternative to No106E and 115 E
cordially

Hello Gary, I found a WW2 18 Pr HE fitted with a No 119. I forget what the date on the fuze was but it was not older than 1940 and not newer than 1942.

Thanks for your replies, Does anyone in the UK have a '41 dated 115, 117 0r 119 Fuze in good order they would like to sell or swap?
Cheers
Gary
