I've had this fuze for some years and still can't find any info on it. It is marked VAD (Vickers Armstrongs Dartford), but the symbols after the 40m/m (2411ZGL) are neither a date, nor a 'standard' fuze number. It fits into a WW2 2-pr HE head. Ideas and information welcome! Depotman.
if it has no broad arrow I would guess it could be a foreign contract one, possibley Swedish as they had 2prs marked 40mm (if my memory serves me well)
