A few questions on markings

Hi,

I would like to have some information on these markings.
I seem to find them only on British ww2 bombs and bomb fuzes. Any idea as to what these might mean? Acceptance stamps?

And does anyone know who manufacturer 'MP' is on 20LB bombs?
