Aldershot

Went to the Aldershot fair on Sunday. Mainly medals and bayonets. No bombs. But I did buy this lump of brass which I can't identify. About 75mm high. Any ideas?

Thanks,

Tony.

lump of brass

It does look like a no. 80 British T&P, its on an adaptor ring for a shrapnell shell. If you can unscrew the lower piece from the rest, may need to get the locking screw out, you should see the markings on the base of the fuze.
