Sorry to all for bringing up the AP and the law nut again,but does anyone know if it is legal to keep an AP core that has been removed from a projectile?
Yes smle2009 it is perfectly legal to retain the core as Falcon states "it is just a piece of hardened steel".
My cores from the 14.5 's I own sit inside the case of the round they came from so they are still part and parcel of the round as such.
It is also legal to own a complete fired one as it is deemed as unusable once rifled.
