Sorry to all for bringing up the AP and the law nut again, but does anyone know if it is legal to keep an AP core that has been removed from a projectile?

Hi Tony, yes its ok for you or anyone to own the AP core once out of its jacket as it cant be used for its intended purpose and there for ok.
Andy

Yes !

Yes smle2009 it is perfectly legal to retain the core as Falcon states "it is just a piece of hardened steel".
My cores from the 14.5 's I own sit inside the case of the round they came from so they are still part and parcel of the round as such.

It is also legal to own a complete fired one as it is deemed as unusable once rifled.

Thanks to all,
Just making sure of things being sqeaky clean in my collection(been at for two weeks now!) due to the recent raids ect!!!

Cheers
Tony
