BOCN Guess what it is

Front more solid section has a look of a 152 or 162 fuze the corroded part is throwing me a bit as not found one with that

You are little warm :tinysmile_twink_t2:, it's very similar but it isn't.
Look at the lower left corner of the picture, there is an evidence ...

This seems to have come to a screeching halt. It's a rustball. We need help, or a new item or something.

Sorry, been side-tracked doing some research and not following the thread. PTM-1?

It'a the fuze of a boobytrap very similar to VGM-572 fuze of PFM-1 landmine ....

Allan . This is getting silly . Please just put something else up , we are all getting older & none the wiser waiting for the answer to Stecol's mystery item !

I know the piece he is talking about, but have no photos available and don't remember the name at the moment. As he mentioned, it is a Sov/Russian sabotage device, about 6cm square by maybe 3cm deep. The fuze sits right in the center, dividing it in two. The one I saw was about the same green as a MON-50 mine.

EOD is right !!:tinysmile_twink_t2:

This specimen was destroyed in Iraq in May 2005.

Regards
stecol
