EOD can you give us a clue by posting another picture of it please, I haven't got a clue on this one.
Thanks.
Dave.

Would there be anything wrong with posting complete photos of items? Especially, the new stuff that no one knows anything about. This thread has been dead for 2 or three days, and the items were supposed to be recognizable by some of the members.

In fact the item is easy. Posting complete views would not make it any interesting.

76mm vehicle launcher, here a practice version for the irritant grenade:

Thanks EOD. Please excuse the lack of my knowledge about these things, how is it launched? Would there be a case with this or is this the case with stuff inside it?
Dave.

Waaaaaaaaa ! And I didn't recognize it ! But yes, we didn't use this sort item, we only used the smoke version.
Here a picture of my CVRT Scorpion turret (long time ago, when I was only 356 years old !!!), SG500, you can see on the both side of the gun the 2 x 4 smoke pot launchers. When the smoke pots are inside the launcher, the rubber cover you can see on the picture is replaced by the rubber top you can see on the picture of EOD, to assure sealing of the launcher. Electrically fired from inside the turret to assure a smoke screen in case of escape under fire !

Exact, Tony, I was wrong, on our CVRT we had the smk discharger 66 mm with smk gren L8A1.

The smk pot we are speaking in this thread is the 77 mm that we had on the Leopard Tank. Oups !
