Could it be a mustard gas bomb that resembles a milkcan only with a smaller neck/opening on top? just looked again and think it's called Mine Chemical No 1

Well can't believe I actually knew the answer . Only problem is I am about to go away for a few days so could someone please pickup the baton and post something as I am unable to do so. Regards Daryl

It seems like Allan seems to know his U.S. Missile Guidance hardware today. It is the Inertial Guidance unit from a Peackeeper Missile. This particular example is in the Hill AFB museum in Ogden Utah. What the sign doesn't say, is that the ball is surrounded and suspended in a liquid, so that it can rotate in any direction without friction.

Allan, over to you!
