Nice to see Tom. This particular pattern body was 60mm diameter. The D&G grenades seemingly could also be fitted with a rod, insofar as they had a base plug threaded internally capable of receiving a rod, but I have not seen the use of rods referred to in reports, I expect there was a danger of the rod penetrating through to the detonator.
