I hope this is pitched at the right degree of difficulty. It is British, WW2 and only made in small numbers.

Absolutely spot on H. These were made up at MD1 especially to demonstrate the switch. The capped cartridge case is empty. Operation of the switch just pops the wooden projectile with the noise of the cap firing.
