BOCN Guess what it is

Gary,

The ring was to aid removal from the discharger I believe and (from experience) to help get the grenade out of the wriggley plastic packing and can. Schermuly manufacture 66mm CS Grenade, typically product code 4025, dates from about 1983. Still on the inventory in 1996 under Pains Wessex with a product code of 57770.
