Interesting way to interpret the Wales connection but it lead you very close to the answer.

Indo European is the next higher level of definition which even covers Roman, Germanic and Slavic languages (and some others). Not to be confused.

Glevum, all is connected somehow when it comes to ammunition. Physics, chemistry, electronics, languages, geography, history, culture, IT, etc, etc....
Also not to forget that this here is an entertainment thread which is in the "offtopic" section and not in "ID". :)
