BOCN Guess what it is

Yep that's the one, when you blow it it makes loads of noise still even after nearly 100 years.

Here's more of the item . I'm sure some of the ex or present EOD members MUST recognise one of these ! Hint , it's post WW2 British.
 
I'm a bit confused here guys.

I thought the Fliegerfaust projectile was short and had 4 spring fins on it.
What is the above picture of? Is it the projectile in a case.

But the bottom of the case looks like it has nozzles in it. Does the whole round leave the launcher and then separate in flight?
