British 15-in AP base fuse query

I would like to inquire if anyone could provide information on the pyrotechnic time delay incorporated into 1930s and WW2 era Royal Navy AP base fuses as used in 15-in and 14-in projectiles? In particular, what was the nominal delay between initiation and detonation.

Thomas,

I have the original handbook for these fuzes, dated 1936. Nothwithstanding the large volume of details given, such as the length of the creep springs, free and under compression etc., nowhere is the period of the delay(s) quoted.

Regards

Tim
