A British 6-pdr Common Pointed projectile presented as a cutaway ,complete with its cartridge case. The case is dated 1938 and bears the marking “6 Pr V” with “N 1938” below.
The projectile is fitted with a base fuze marked “W.S.&S.” The driving band carries the number “1157”, with “DR” stamped beneath it. An additional “N” marking is present, indicating the naval association of the ammunition.
