British 9.45 inch and French 240 mm heavy trench mortars from WW1

Managed to pick up these two babies last weekend. Both of course empty and totally inert. Apparently the British
example (top in the picture) is exactly the same one as previously discussed in this BOCN thread: http://www.bocn.co.uk/vbforum/threa...r-with-his-french-brother?p=250535#post250535.
Should both display nicely along the German 25cm Minenwerfer shell in the collection. Very pleased with these two
new additions.

Not sure about the French color scheme though and might consider removing the paint. Anybody knows what the correct
color scheme should be for these mortars? Suggestions welcome.
