British No 255 Fuze

Does anybody have any info on the usage of the 255 fuze? I have it listed as for a 2pdr HE for land service,but no details are given as to what its service use was? I have a mint fuze minus gain,with no acceptance marks. Any ideas? Cheers Tony.

Many thanks for the info N. Am i right in thinking the Mk7 shell was used at the very end of and post ww2,probably with the daimler armoured car? Regards Tony.
