British Test Fuze Mk2.

This fuze is marked Test Fuze Mk2 and SNO19 stamped on the body.
Is it UK made or made for UK? Normal British 2" x 14 threads. Steel body with black plastic top. 214mm long. Top part is 111mm long.
the base is open with 2 insulated wires showing and black sealant.

How is this fuze used? and is it to test circuits on VT fuzes.
HI, SD & DA each show a small window that may indicate if all is OK.
The reset has a small button that can be pressed.

Could be a "Yaw sonde"! I am aware of the existence of such devices, but never seen one up close. They use a v shaped photo sensor to detect the yaw and spin motion of a shell by looking at the image of the sun as it passes an aperture in the side of the sonde.. The device uses a transmitter to send the data stream to a ground station.

As you will see, the sonde fits the same cavity as a VT fuze and would be fitted to an inert fill shell to match the weight of an HE Shell.
