Can Anyone ID This Fuze

Hey Guys, Just picked this up in trade..Does anyone have a clue what this one is? Im thinking maybe WWI ? Only markings besides the lot # is R&CMC Any help would be great.

I think it is a Russian WW1 Artillery Shell Fuse.

I checked google under Russian WW1 Artillery Shell Fuse and didnt see anything like this. :sad:

Wilson is correct. Your fuze was manufactured here in the States for export to Russia during WWI. It was used on their 76mm/3-inch shrapnel projectiles (see photograph).

These fuzes are known as the "Chinese hat" fuze for obvious reasons.
