Further to my ID needed post, here is the fuze I got from Waterloo Market near Brussels. I am assuming this is for an artillery shell as not my thing.
Soaked it in penetrant for the morniong & then at lunch had a go at dismanteling!
Never done one before as familiar to No 80`? etc but they have always been fired finds & wouldnt come apart.
This was unfired I in sound but dirty/corroded cond.
It came apart very easily & I must admit seeing the workings for `real` against my cross section diagram knowledge interesting.
There was some rust on the spring/diaphragm washer & light dirt/verdi gris on the brass but all the springs etc were good.
Didn`t get carried away with polishing as I don`t think that`s right (my view).
