Fuse Id please

Can anyone id these fuses and what the wire rings are for which iI have not seen before , the fuses have been used on a piece of trench art.

Measurements are 9cm h x 6cm wide

it's a german L.W.M.Zdr. or a L.W.M.Zdr.2 for the 7,6 cm mortar shells (7,6 cm leichter Minenwerfer).

The type is normally written on the nose piece (maybe on the opposite site where 1917 is written)

Very nice fuze. There are several variations of the light minenwerfer fuze including practice. They are found in all brass and some with lighter color alloys. There is another fuze style designed for the intermediate and heavy minenwerfers. I think that just minenwerfer fuze variations would make a fine collection. They are around and usually you don't have to milk the bank to attain them. Aah German WW1 ordnance. Does life get any better????............Dano

the thread on the top was used for attaching a covering cap, designed to hide the burning lights during nightime shooting
