fuze base No 12 "special" ?

can anyone tell me about this fuze, i have D J. Ibbetsons book "early British artillery fuzes", it does not show this particular one "special" ? thanks

Hi earni74,
This might be the answer to your question. It's a different Mk XI but the "Speciality" might be the same for the Mk IX .
