Fuze for Naval 4.5"

Hi All,
I have a Britsh Naval 4.5" Illumination round and need a fuze for it, it is 1970'S dated. Any help would be very gratefully accepted,

Andy, I'm pretty sure it is an N9 fuze you need, there were a couple on SA.

Hi Darren,
Thank you for your reply, it came with an N9 but that would not screw in, threads are ok and the fuze will screw into a 1990's HE 4.5" maybe a different thread size, the illum round is a Mk N4 and is dated 1971.

Ah, perhaps the older illuminating rounds use a different fuze, I know the later ones use the N9 as it took me ages to find one for mine.

Hi Andy,

You need an N7 mk1 Fuze for your round.

Andy . I'm not very good with fuzes but I have this plug with the markings as shown . Would this be anything like the N7 ? Mike
