Does anyone know & can tell me what the designation, country of origin & projectile use for this fuze please?
Stampings on the fuze include: MT XM563E4 WTX-X-7-5

The pieces you have are the top ends of the body of 105 Howitzer APERS Flechette projectiles. The fuze is set for the range from the gun where the user wants the projectile to open up. When the fuze functions, it detonates the 4 detonators at the bottom of the adaptor to split the body into 4 pieces that open up like the petals on a flower. It also initiates a base charge to push the layers of flechettes forward. The top layer of flechettes rests right below the bottom of your adaptors.
