Fuze Setter for No 207 op 211. Not sure what the "op" refers to. Possibly No 207 through to No 211. Maybe some member can comment on this?

Dated 1942. Manufactured by A.G.W. Unknown to me.

KEY NO 153 SETTING No 207 op 211 FUZE NI.. Also seems to have other markings. A crown and smaller markings.

I assume this was for the 3.7 inch Anti Aircraft ammunition.

Should be read - Key No. 153 IN (Mk. I Naval)

The 207 was for 3.7" Gun. The 211 was a Naval version of the 208, which was a 207 with a longer body.

I would suggest 'OP' should be 'OR' one assumes the stamp was broken or the engraver (if engraved) forgot to complete the 'R'.

This was a surprise to me as I always thought the clockwork fuzes were set by the automatic fuze setter in the 3.7" guns - particularly by 1942.
