Fuze with protruding studs

Anyone know what type of fuze this is for, a friend said its for a 81mm illum mortar. Markings in increments from 500 to 2500 and has a latch that would release the body to turn it to set what ever and protruding studs around the body.

The Illuminating rounds for the Carl Gustav 84mm have the same studs, so you can set it in the dark by feeling the studs, different number studs for different delay times.

I had a look at the Carl Gustav Illum round, similar night time studs but different ogive shape fuze.

I sse on one of the photos LOS so it indicates to a German speaking country.
Are there more markings?

This fuze belongs to a 90 mm or 105 mm Illum projectile.

Dm133 seems te be graduated 1000 to 2000 (if our doc is correct) so the fuze to ID seems to be a variant (500 to 2500)

105mm illum shell, cant seem to find much on it on the web, not sure if its still used or was a small batch used, nice bit of kit i may add.

The corresponding rounds were, if my sources are correct, the 90mm x 602 DM16 and the 105mm x 617 DM16. The 90mm round was used with the Kanonenjagdpanzer. It's not easy to find any information, both rounds are now obsolete for many years.

According to my documents, the DM133 has markings up to 2200m (four stud setting). The fuze in the pics has five, however. Maybe my drawing is off:questionmark:

Found this 90mm round at the WTS Koblenz:



Note that the stencil still says "DT-16" for Deutsches Truppenversuchsmodell (German troop trial model). The "DT" designations have been discontinued since 1993.
