Hello,
I have this german fuze in a bad condition.
This is, a priori, a Z.Rh.f.7.62cm Brds used against air targets from a Russian 3inches.
But i never found pictures of this fuze on internet. Have you got some ?
Thank you,

Good evening

This is the only picture I have. Sorry for the quality.
Hope it helps.

Hello,

I think your fuze is the variant for 7.7cm if I properly read markings.

Hello,
It seems to be the same of the Dopp Z 96 na but without the percussion system.

not current fuze in fact.

Actually, I found this version in the book "Deutsche artillerie und minenwerfer - munition 1914-1918". You have certainly the untraceable "Artillerie Allemande - les projectiles 1919".
Thank you Minenaz16

Hi,

Artillerie Allemande - les projectiles
I have the 1917 edition, and the 7,7cm Brandshrapnelgranate isn't inside.
I had no idea there was a supplement from 1919 of this book. It seems to have several extra pages. Is there a digital version available somewhere ?

S.

Does anyone have the internal drawings of the Z.Rh.f.7.7cm Brds?
what is the difference between the 7.62cm and 7.7cm?

Joe

Hi,

7,62 is graduated from 2 to 64 and fits on the 7,62cm Brandschrapnelgranate, 7,7 from 23 to 65 and fits on the 7,7cm Brandschrapnelgranate.

I imagine the internals are the same.

Here is the 7,62 from french book 'Artillerie allemande, les fusées' available on Gallica.bnf.fr

Hello,

Not agree with you.

7.7 fuze graduated from 2 to 65 (with 1/2 graduations) but marked 64.
7.6 fuze graduated from 2 to 65 too (with 1 to 1 graduations) but marked 64 as well.

Hi,

I was just quoting books.

For the 7,7cm, from "Deutsche artillerie und minenwerfer munition 1914-1918" SCHMIDT-TAPKEN

But you are right. A closer look at the picture shows scale starts at 2.

For the 7,6 cm, "Artillerie allemande - les fusées"

But you are right, I should have written "numbers from 2 to 64"

Regards,

S.

I wrote my answer only after reading scales and marking on both real fuzes in our museum ;)
