Help with i.d please

Hi all can anyone help with the i.d of this British Fuze the top now missing was alloy and I believe all the details like no ,mark ,date were on it I have tried to find details of it but it's hard to find pics of many of the British numbered fuzes I think it is ww2 and maybe a no 223 but could easily be wrong thanks WG

Really looks like a British No 401.
(No 223 is graduated to 30)

Hi there thanks for the reply I was having a nightmare pinning down a number or even a pic is it regarded as a rarer fuze or was I not looking hard enough thanks for the quick response regards WG I also put another fuze and shell on the forum for i.d
