I Have A Big One!

Hi Guys;

I finaly got hold of a reasonably big casing: a 21cm x 836R for the SK L/45 gun, but am I right? After a little research, it appears only 16 guns were manufactured, and 8 were fitted on the Armoured Cruiser Bluecher which got sunk in 1915 according to NavWeaps. So far so good. However, there's another type of guns of the same caliber which were fitted on older types of Armoured Cruisers that's the 21cm SK L/40 Guns, with 3 variations: C97, C01 and C04. Are the cases for these guns the same as the 21cm 836R?

The case was reloaded 3 times, but what is the meaning of the number 660? Is it the number of the case? The lot number? An inspector's mark? Any info is welcome.

Thank you.
