Hello, can someone shed some light on this fuze? It look French because of the bottom part but the upper is steel. I have never seen anything like this.

It's a 24-31mm Model 1899/1915 short delay with steel head (not very common).
This fuze was made in ww1 to use HE shells against hard targets.

only saw this fuze on 75mm HE.
I assume this fuze was only used on small caliber used against tanks or hard targets
I also saw this fuze on spanish (civil war) 40mm HE (Arellano gun)
