German projectiles drive me nuts. Not enough quality references, and so many variations - Most of these I know the basics, but need model numbers/designations.

And a few more. I think that includes about all of the Navy illumination.

They look sort of familiar, MTM Collection?

AMS 2868: 8,8 cm Lg. Patr. L4,4.
AMS 2864: difficult to say 100%, but the shell looks like a 8,8 cm Br. Schr. Flak.
AMS 2852: 10 cm Pgzr. Flak or Pzgr. Rot.
AMS 2846: 10,5 cm Üb. Spgr. L/4,1 mit Kopfladung
AMS 2838: see AMS 2852
AMS 2834: 10,5 cm Lg. L/4 or L/4,2
AMS 2814: 8,8 cm Üb.Gr. L/2,8
Ams 2798: 7,5 cm Üb. Spgr. L/4,7 Üb. S.
AMS 1553: 5 cm Rö.Gr. 42 Ausführung A.

Best regards,

Zünder.

AMS 2964: looks a lot like a french 155 mm Mle 1887-1894
Ams 2957: again French, I think 155 Mle 1915-B Gp. Not sure if a S/30 coould be fitted to this shell.
Ams 2949: 15 cm Spgr. L/4,5 Kz (m. Hb.)
Ams 2917: 12,7 cm Lg. L/4,5
Ams 2900: 17 cm Lg. L/3,7

You are almost there, but I’m missing a few more Illum. shells, 20,3 cm Lg L/4,5 and 7,5 cm Lg. L/4,5 for instance.

Best regards,

Zünder.

They look sort of familiar, MTM Collection?
This group, yes. For this project items were selected for photography and 3D scanning from 4 large collections, one of which was MTM. Unfortunately the MTM collection was never well documented, it was all in Joop's head. With his passing some items have been sold to fund the continuation of the collection and many items have been moved from their original locations in the collection, making this one of the most difficult locations to try and perform identification procedures.

Next group, then its on to some UK items.

Thanks Zünder, that's a great help. I've only got four more German, plus the two above that were not identified, 3046 and 3060. Anyone out there recognize the 6prs?
New photos are 2ea 17cm followed by 2ea 21cm.

6pr 7cwt APDS/T
6pr 7cwt HE/T
6pr 6cwt HE/T for the AA gun

Burney Davis is right about the HE projectiles, the fuzes they used where:
