Japanese Navy Bomb Incendiary Pellet

BOUGAINVILLE

Well-Known Member
This is an incendiary pellet from one of the IJN 250 kg Incendiary-Shrapnel Bombs (Type 2 No.25 Mark 3 Model 1) that were dropped on Darwin.

It is 2 3/4" x 1" and was filled with a thermite rubber mixture.
