Jim Farrant (British painter)

Obviously I should stop buying shells and start painting :tinysmile_kiss_t4:

But to get us back on track, here is another Canadian artist, Robert Lougheed who served here in ww2, but was invalided out.
He became famous later for Western Art in the U.S. Lots of information on line. There is a thick book on him and rather amazingly his brother was my neibhour for many years.
He was painting while in the service and this is one of the best.
Also a nice Tribal Class in the Mediterainian that was dirty bron and cleaned up surpizingly well.

Remember, in the movie "City Slickers" Jack Palance's character, when asked why he never got married, replied that once he saw a woman sitting at a river bank with her back towards him, and he wanted to go and talk to her, but he forced himself to drive away and never got married.
Probably the same thing, without a face the dream of perfect mate stays forever....
