Have a B.D. fuze here, 6 1/2 x 2 1/2, marked on the base with 4 random symbols too small and too lightly struck to make out. Is possibly for a squash head shell? Any information would be appreciated. Thankyou.

this is a WW II Czech base fuze , I think for the 15/21cm projectiles. I am not home in the moment and I can't give further info right now, there exist also WaA stamped fuze used for the " Beute-ammo"
