It is a post war version of the standard AFV 36 grenade box, the sort of item you would find in Ferrets, etc. , not particularly common. The WW2 version has a different type of lid/body join, the hinge pivot being at the top of the rear,
these are VERY rare, they were rare in 1981 when I got mine for my Dingo.
The overall dimensions are the same.
