I played for 6 years, The red shirt you see in pic 4 is British Bulldogs, we played against Cal Tech in Pasadena and Australian Kookaburras (national team) in Brisbane. The 2 badges on my shirt are the regimental crest of the Royal Army Ordnance Corps and 4 Armoured Division. I was serving at the time and they allowed me a month off to play.

I'll be wearing the shirt and helmet to Wembley in October when the Rams play the Cheaters in London.

Very cool to say the least. What position did you play? I am a Cleveland Browns fan from birth. I remember when the St Louis Rams were the Los Angeles Rams. Gosh the years that have gone by.

I played WR way back in the 80s. At my first team in Cheltenham we could fill a a small section of the stadium, at the other games we had the usual one man walking his dog in the local park (if we were lucky) Most people hadn't heard of the game and didn't attend. There was a regular pre season NFL game at Wembley in London, the first was the (SB XX) Bears vs Cowboys in 86. You will remember that the Browns played the Eagles there in 89. Our team went down (300+ miles) in a bus and decided to root for the Browns. We were behind one of the goals at pitch level. Every time the Eagles D were backed up to the goal line we threw Dog Biscuits at them until one of the stewards asked what we were doing. We explained about the Dawg Pound and the biscuits. He asked us politely not to throw any more because they had Dog Racing in the stadium the next day :D

Recently the NFL started to play regular season games at Wembley. The Rams will play one home game here for the next 3 years. Walter Kroenke, the Rams owner, also owns 12.19% of Arsenal FC in London. The Rams are negotiating a deal with their stadium owners in St Louis. I reckon the Rams will relocate to London in the next few years. The NFL have said they want to expand outside of USA.
