Mystery ww1 fuse

While I was in Courcelette last September I found two fuses in a rubble pile. I was wondering if anyone could help me identify the fuse on the right hand of the picture attached. I know the fuse on the left is a british No 100 fuse, I think the fuse on the right (made of iron) might be a plug used when transporting shells. The size, thread and indentations match those on the no. 100 fuse.
