Darrol .

Where abouts on the body is it?

I think, but am not sure, that the letters or numbers under the lever were just foundry marks or casting marks and had nothing to do with cataloging a maker

i was wondering . its the first time ive had a no5 with body markings.
thank you.

Hello.
For what it might be worth, I have a No5 here with ( on the body, covered by the lever ) a large captial " R " with a small stamped square between the legs of said letter.

If this has any significant meaning I would be most interested to hear of it.

Thank you, Pete.
